Phase Technology knows how to hang—speakers, anyway. The company just introduced its new HD Series of pendant speakers.
Available in 3-, 4-, 6- and 8-inch sizes, the new HS Series offers off-axis performance and an easy install. They also look pretty cool, too.
The HS-24, HS-26, HS-28 and the long-throw HS-28LT all have Phase Technology’s BroadBeam Ring, which promises a better high-frequency dispersion. Other features include a ceramic input terminal, a built-in thermal fuse, hanging and safety cables, a transformer and tap switch, and a cover plate with a weather resistant rubber plug.
The HS-15 boasts the quality of PhaseTech’s 3-inch micro module speakers in a pendant style. It includes a combination audio/hanging cable with a 25:1 safety factor and mounting plate for mounting directly to a standard ceiling junction box.
“Pendant speakers such as those first brought to the market by our sister company SoundTube are a mainstay in the commercial audio world, and we have been asked for quite some time to design a Phase Technology model,” said Duke Ducoff, MSE Audio VP of Sales. “These pendant speakers have attractive styling that will blend in with any open-ceiling architecture and their sonic quality is simply outstanding. They are ideal for great rooms, patios, gymnasiums, or other spaces with open ceilings.”
