Powerline Control Systems is about to brighten up its line, adding another lighting and home control option for users seeking easy, remote access. The new Mi LightStyle solution promises that type of control, on pretty much every platform imaginable.

Mi LightStyle is actually the controller, which is designed to work with the company’s PulseWorx or any UPB-based system. Once installed, Mi LightStyle allows users to manage, monitor and control those products from an iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and web-enabled computers.

Other features include timers, triggers, email or text notifications and events, which can be programmed based on the status of the devices, the time of day, and even local weather conditions.

Although Mi LightStyle is only available through integrators, it promises an easy, drag-and-drop configuration. That translates into easier service calls, updates, and other tweaks. The company says that plenty of add-on modules are also available.

The Mi LightStyle app is available now for the iPhone or iPad. The Android app will follow once Mi LightStyle starts shipping. The Mi LightStyle 4 Zone Starter Kit has a retail price of about $1,738.
