Mirror TVs aren’t the rage they used to be. Aside from the one you might have pried from a hotel bathroom, has anyone out there made the purchase plunge? Well, soon it will be your lucky day. Pantel says you could be simultaneously shaving and watching TV by the end of the year.
Pantel’s Mirror TV line will offer water-resistant entertainment for your bathroom, sauna, shower, as well as outdoor areas. Each of the models features an HDMI input and a 720p image. Four sizes will be available: 17, 20, 26 and 32 inches. The 17-inch model has a 450:1 contrast ratio, with the 20-inch at 700:1 and the other two boasting 1,500:1.
Not sure how many people are clamoring for these units, but I was certainly mesmerized the last time I stayed in Vegas. Then again, the giant Danny Gans billboard also mesmerized me.
Prices range from $1,300 to $3,000, depending on the screen size.
