Back in January, Panasonic introduced its flagship plasma for 2013. The ZT60 Series made a big CES debut, receiving plenty of accolades in the process. Now, the company has started selling the series, in two screen sizes.
According to Panasonic, the ZT60 plasma is now available, as an exclusive to Best Buy’s 400 Magnolia locations across the country. That exclusivity will last from now through July 31, 2013.
The 65-inch TC-P65ZT60 has an MSRP of $4,099.99, with the 60-inch TC-P60ZT60 selling for $3,499.99. For comparison, Panasonic’s 65-inch VT60 TV lists for $3,599.99.
Just last month, our own Grant Clauser was talking up this plasma as one of the best of 2013. More recently, the set recently took high honors at the annual Value Electronics HDTV Shootout.
The flagship HDTV features a full 1080p image in 2D and 3D, THX certification for both modes, voice recognition and voice guidance features, and the option to use the add-on Electronic Touch Pen (TY-TP10U) accessory. Also important to note is the inclusion of the “Beyond the Reference” Studio Master Panel for deep blacks, as well as the Ultimate Black Filter Technology.
Other features include built-in WiFi, the web-based VIERA Connect platform, the Swipe & Share 2.0 feature, and Panasonic’s new My Home Screen personalization options.
