Panasonic is teasing us with yet another 3D Blu-ray player. The company just announced the DMP-BDT100, which will be available in August.

The big tease is that the company hasn’t announced pricing. That seems to be the make-or-break spec these days.

Aside from full HD 3D goodies, this player will upconvert those old standard-def DVDs. It will also hook you up with VIERA Cast, which is Panasonic’s own on-demand streaming service. That allows you to tap into a variety of partners in an instant, including Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, YouTube, Picasa, Twitter, and more.

Streaming that content is easy if you’ve got an Ethernet connection nearby. If not, the player does have wireless capabilities, but you’ll need the Wireless LAN Adaptor (DY-WL10) to make the magic.

If you’re not into the extra content or 3D, the BDT100 is also a very nice 2D player for those 1080p high-def discs. Other features include the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus, the 96-kHz Surround Re-master function, an integrated SD card and USB slot and an improved boot-up time, which Panasonic says is about a half a second.

While no pricing is available on this model, the BDT100 does slim down the existing DMP-BDT300 (pictured), which goes for $399. Pricing is expected to be lower. Hopefully, we’ll see an update soon.
