Panasonic says its 103-inch plasma is designed for professional environments.
In case your eyes still have some life in them, Panasonic has introduced a 103-inch 1080p plasma.
How this is different from their other 103-inch plasma, well… that’s not too clear. Maybe it’s because they are billing this one as a “professional” plasma—and as much as you like to think of yourself as a “professional” home theater watcher, it’s supposed to be for commercial and educational purposes. Boo!
We want to watch four 50-inch plasmas at the same time, which is what Panasonic likens the TH-103PF10UK to.
As part of the 10-Series plasma line, it promises a 100,000-hour service life, configurability for video wall environments, newly updated video processing technology for superior imaging, HDMI, Anti-Reflective coating, and an optional wireless presentation module. Of course, with a big boy like this, you’re also entitled to Panasonic’s Plasma Concierge Service.
The Panasonic site says the unit is available now for about $70,000. If you ask nicely, maybe your boss will get one so you can watch movies during the day. You’d probably have better luck calling one of the many authorized installers that want to sell you one.
