Panasonic Electric Rug Makes My Toes Curl
Instead of flipping for a radiant floor, this magic carpet takes warmth wherever you want it.
Panasonic Electric Rug
August 27, 2007 | by Rachel Cericola

I love a nice toasty floor, but do I need an electric blanket for my feet? Instead of trying to shove my icy tootsies underneath my dog (she hates that!), Panasonic has developed an electric carpet.

Sure a radiant floor would be nice, but if you don’t have the means, you can just throw this rug down in any chilly room. Technabob says the thing cranks up to 114 degrees and may soon come in a wooden variety, which is just kind of weird.

One thing I don’t like about it: It looks like they are using leftover carpet samples from discount outlets. Maybe it’s just a protoype? Call me when it comes in shag.

HA! I had to laugh at that, Johnny. The rug itself looks like it could be a tripping and/or sliding hazard.

Nice! Another cord to trip over! Maybe they could make it with a magsafe connector?
