Squeezing behind the TV to add yet another cable into your audio and/or video mix can be a rough job. Instead of throwing out your shoulder, Panasonic wants you to contort the cable.
It’s nice if you have that HDMI option, because one cable means less time that you have to spend with your face pressed up against your dusty equipment or the wall. However, the company’s new bendable cable can swivel up to 180 degrees, to make tight installs slightly less painful.
According to Engadget HD, there’s no word on pricing yet, but 1.5- and 3-meter versions should hit in September. However, the Panasonic site says that’s for the German market. It’s a German site though, so hopefully the U.S. will see their own site and version of the product coming soon.
