LiteTouch Remote Access uses portable devices to monitor energy levels.
Two companies are joining forces. Panamax/Furman just announced that they will be merging operations with LiteTouch.
Panamax/Furman are best known for power management, while LiteTouch has 30 years in the lighting control industry. The focus for the newly merged entity will be energy efficiency and energy management solutions. It’s nothing new for any of the companies involved. Panamax/Furman has been adding BlueBOLT Technology into many of its products, while LiteTouch has DayLight Harvesting in its own lineup.
“The combined operations of LiteTouch and Panamax/Furman will provide installers and integrators with a full range of high-voltage custom residential and commercial installation products,” says Bill Pollock, the president of Panamax/Furman, who will also oversee the newly combined company. “Additionally, both companies’ focus on innovation in energy management and green technologies, such as BlueBOLT and LiteTouch Remote Access, provides a tremendous opportunity for alignment and symmetry in delivering next-generation energy management solutions for our customers and their clients.”
Both companies are subsidiaries of the Home Technology Group of Linear, LLC.

One is a subsidiary of DTS, with the other looking to gain traction via Indiegogo.
