IRVINE, Calif., January 4, 2008 – OWLink Technology, a leading provider of innovative technology that transmits high definition digital video, audio and control signals over a single transparent DLI™ Fiber Optic link, will be demonstrating the company’s award winning HD Digital Light Link FO2850 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Booth Innovations POD IP232 and the ShowStoppers Event, January 7-10 in Las Vegas.  OWLink’s HD Digital Light Link FO2850 was selected as the Best of Innovations, Design and Engineering Award winner for CES 2008.

OWLink’s transparent DLI™ Fiber optic cable enables home users to place their video and audio equipment in the most convenient location in the home without opening walls, ceilings or floors to run cable. By deploying a simple A/V switch, one set of source devices can be accessed by multiple displays throughout the home. Each display can access different video and audio source devices, making it possible to watch the game on high-definition television while listening to music from the stereo system. OWLink’s products transmit uncompressed video/audio and comply with Studio-approved HDCP content protection technologies.

“OWLink has introduced the next generation of home entertainment networking through the utilization of fiber optic cabling,” said Paul Tzeng, President and CEO, OWLink Technology. “No longer is it necessary to try and hide your bulky, unsightly audio and video cables.  OWLink fiber optic cable is nearly invisible to the naked eye. Furthermore, our products are easy to install and allow consumers to place their home electronics wherever they would like without the costs of professional, behind the wall wire installation.”

OWLink technology makes it easy to setup whole house video and audio distribution. By using an external A/V switch, one set of source devices can be accessed by multiple displays located in various places throughout the home. Each display can access a separate video and audio source, making it possible, for example, to watch a sports event while listening to your music.

In addition to consumer usage, OWLink components easily lend themselves to commercial applications such as sports bars, public displays, gyms, and security centers to name a few. Because OWLink’s technology is more cost-effective, upgrading complete systems for high definition are less expensive for commercial and home deployments.

OWLink will demonstrate its award-winning products at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show January 7-10 in Las Vegas.  OWLink will show products in the company’s CES suite at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and at the company’s booth Innovations POD IP232 at the Sands Convention Center.
