A subwoofer is what makes movie explosions cooler, concerts more lifelike, and just adds overall oomph into any audio system. No audio setup should go without one. OSD Audio wants you to easily add that boom into your room, announcing two affordable freestanding subwoofers.
The 12-inch OSD PS12 can output 175 watts at under 1 percent THD (continuous operation at 1/8 rated power), and boasts a frequency response of 5Hz to 180Hz (-3dB ref.0dB). The 10-inch PS10 can do 125 watts, with a frequency response of 5Hz to 180Hz.
Both models come with a 180-degree phase switch, 40Hz to 180Hz variable crossover control, a signal sensing “power on” option, and front-firing ports. Also because the PS10 and PS12 have omnidirectional bass output, placement is extremely flexible.
The OSD PS12 is available now for $249.50, with the PS10 coming in at $199.50. Both prices include free shipping.
