Vongo’s movie download service
May 31, 2007 by EH Staff

Eating pizza, having a beer and enjoying a movie seem to go hand-in-hand for Saturday night entertainment. At least two of those things are being served up together through a new promotional campaign.

Starz Entertainment and Domino’s Pizza have announced a two month, co-marketing and promotional campaign that features a free 30-day trial to the Vongo broadband movie download service for all online orders placed on www.dominos.com.

The companies also announced a sweepstakes with prizes including a 37-inch flat-panel LCD HDTV (estimated retail value, $2,000), laptop computer (estimated retail value, $1,050), and 20, 1-year free subscriptions to Vongo (estimated retail value $120 per subscription).  Online entry forms are available at http://www.dominos.com and no purchase is necessary.

The promotional campaign and sweepstakes will run until July 22. Go to www.dominos.vongo.com for more information about the Vongo trial.

Note that the Vongo download service is offered for Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems. For those with Intel-powered Apple computers, the company says it will work inside Windows running through Apple’s Boot Camp utility, Parallels Desktop or similar program.
