Not everyone wants a big home theater receiver. It’s true! However, it’s possible to add a little boost to the AV in your living room, bedroom, or anywhere else, via the Orb Audio Booster.
According to Electronista, this mini amplifier can connect up to four components to a pair of speakers, as well as one remote control.
Offering 20 watts per channel, the device has two RCA stereo inputs and two headphone mini jacks. It also has a subwoofer output and speaker connectors.
Of course, don’t expect the same AV experience that you’d get with a full-size home theater system. That said, you won’t need the space or budget that comes with a larger setup.
The Booster measures about 6-by-6-by-1.75 inches, so you won’t need a big speaker cabinet for this setup. You also won’t need a big AV budget, either. The Booster package is available now for $164. If you want to pair the Booster with two Mod1 Orb speakers, the package will cost you $378.
