Plasma TV Ban in the Works?
One overseas group wants to rid the world -- and your living room -- of that fabulous flat panel.
image Are plasma TVs killing the environment? One conservative group thinks so—and they plan to do something about it. As I sit here in Ohio and its a little cold(-12 F) I wonder what will be banned next Toasters maybe. I guess we could all buy solar powered toasters but then we would probably burn ourselves or our houses and the goverment would ban them because there a safety hazard. I also live with-in 25 mile radius of two nuclear power plants, one coal powered plant(hasn’t been shutdown yet) a company that makes solar panels and four large wind turbines. Oh Ohio also has enough coal to produce electricity for 100 plus years available that we can’t or won’t be able to use.
Also does any one realize that if we don’t use generated electricity we lose it.  Any suggestions are what to do with this lost electricity?
