More people are looking to take all of their audio and video goodies on the go. Onkyo is hoping to go along for that ride, announcing plans to enter the headphone market.
At this point, it’s a bit of a tease—Onkyo hasn’t announced any actual headphone models or even a release date. However, it’s coming. Onkyo says that the company will debut its headphone line at the 2013 International CES, next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“The company has focused its engineering talents on producing a range of products that will offer users an authentic hi-fi experience on the go,” said the company in an extremely short teaser statement.
If you’re heading to the show next month, look for the lineup under the Gibson tent. Onkyo plans to have the products on display in “various unique settings and with some special guests.” The 2013 International CES runs from January 8-11, 2013.
