SlideshowThree is the magic number for Onkyo.
The company just announced three new home-theater-in-a-box systems—all at affordable prices.
Onkyo’s HT-S5100 ($579) is the most expensive of the lot, with 7.1-channel surround sound and three 1080p-compatible HDMI inputs and one output. Other highlights include 130 watts per channel, a 290-watt subwoofer, an iPod dock, and Audyssey 2EQ room correction technology.
The HT-S4100 ($479) and the HT-S3100 ($379) provide 5.1-channel sound, DTS and Dolby Digital surround processing, and a 200-watt subwoofer. Both include the HDTV-capable audio/video receiver that also comes with the S5100. The S4100 also has the iPod dock, but the S3100 does not.
Each of the systems are available this month. Check out more in the slideshow.
