Donald North Audio (DNA) is introducing its new Sonic Décor line of on-wall speakers.

The compact speakers (4.25 inches deep) are designed to integrate with pictures, paintings, plasmas and LCD flatscreen TVs. Units mount with twosmall screws and incorporate a mounting bracket with a built-in channel for bubble level. DNA says the Sonic Décor speakers can be installed in less than 30 minutes.

Customers can choose from over 80 standard colors for the cabinets, grilles, and trim panels. Any color combination is offered at the same price and blank trim panels are also available for custom painting by the customer or an installer.

The model 100 left/right mirror-imaged pair speakers measure 16.25 inches high x 10.5 inches wide x 4.25 inches deep and weigh 13 pounds each. The model 100s feature a 5.75-inch woofer with a 1-inch textile dome tweeter. Frequency range is 70 Hz – 20 kHz. MSRP is $1,495 per pair, including one pair of grilles and one pair of trim panels.

The mating model 200 center-channel speaker measures 10.5 inches high x 16.25 inches wide x 4.25 inches deep and weighs 13 pounds. It also features a 5.75-inch woofer with a 1-inch textile dome tweeter s. Frequency range is 70 Hz – 20 kHz. MSRP is $795 each, including one grille and one trim panel.
