Syntax-Brillian is making a splash in this season’s sea of TVs. The company just announced that they are planning a line of LCDs that use 120Hz technology to deliver the true HD of 1080p.

The company’s 120Hz Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation (ME/MC) boasts a better reproduction of objects that are in motion. Other features include additional HDMI inputs and two USB ports.

The new line will start shipping in the second quarter of 2008; the five sizes range from 42 to 65 inches.

In case you were one of those in the HDTV holiday frenzy, the company has other A/V components to announce under its Olevia brand. New “behind-the-scenes” offerings include an HDMI switcher box, an HDMI switcher/splitter, Olevia-branded HDMI cables, and wall/ceiling mounts. There are also plans for an Olevia home theater sound bar, DVD players, digital photo frames, speakers and a wireless/waterproof LCD TV.
