Okoro Media Systems’ OMS-ZX100 server in a funky yellow
Perhaps Okoro Media Systems considers itself to be the sports car of media servers. One of the flairs to its latest high-end server, the ZX series, is the ability for purchasers to customize the chassis by ordering it in any automotive color.
The OMS-ZX100, the first model available in the “Extreme” line of Okoro’s digital entertainment systems, has plenty going on under the hood as well.
For high-performance video and gaming there’s an Intel Core2 Extreme Quad Core Processor QX68750 3.0GHz, Nvidia Pure Video HD technology and 3 gigs of 800MHz DDR2 RAM.
All of your digital media files can fit comfortably on the 32GB high-speed solid state OS drive that has 1 terabyte of storage. You can use the electronic programming guide to schedule up to two weeks of TV DVR’ing.
High-definition DVD viewing comes courtesy of a drive that handles Blu-ray and HD DVD discs as well, and the audio capability allows for surround sound of 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 setups.
Okoro’s solid state drive OMS-ZX100 media server starts from $5,995. I’ll take one in British racing green and another in “Back to the Future” DeLorean silver, thanks.
