Office Depot may take the prize when it comes to its variety of paper clips, but who knew it would capture the most creative category?

Twice says that the retailer has just been named as an honoree for the Consumer Electronics Show’s 2008 Best of Innovations Award. The honors go to the company’s Burrito, which is not a food, but still makes me want to head to my nearest Mexican restaurant or even 7-11.

This Burrito, however, doesn’t clutter your tummy; it clears up your workspace, boasting the ability to hold loose cables against any surface. Designed for both computer peripherals and other electronics, the unit is equipped with two suction cups, a magnet, and a Velcro strip—just like MacGyver!

Maybe it’s just me, but it also looks like you could store your sunglasses in it.

The Burrito cable management tool will be available in early 2008 under Office Depot’s Ativa brand.
