Want to get all Oasis-like on your “Guitar Hero?” Now you can rock out like Noel and/or Liam Gallagher. Activision just announced that gamers will soon be able to download the British group’s new album, “Dig Out Your Soul,” for use with “http://worldtour.guitarhero.com” target=“_blank” title=“Guitar Hero World Tour”>Guitar Hero World Tour.”
The hit single “The Shock of the Lightning,” along with “Bag it Up” and “Waiting for the Rapture” will all be available as the Oasis Track Pack for the Xbox 360 and PS3, starting November 6. Each of the three tracks will also be released as single song downloads for each platform. You can spend some time perfecting those tracks; the rest of the album won’t come until 2009.
“Guitar Hero World Tour” will be released on October 26. This latest incarnation includes new online and offline gameplay modes, including Band Career and the 8-player Battle of the Bands. The tracklist will include the Oasis song “Some Might Say.”
