NuVo’s NV-T2SIR needs an optional module to receive Sirius Satellite Radio.
As you add on technology to your home, it’s nice to stop and think about the environment. OK, sometimes you are just thinking about firing up your Led Zeppelin box set. However, NuVo wants to do the thinking for you.
The company’s new NV-T2SIR tuner is starting to earn its smiley faces from Energy Star. NuVo is in the process of getting the rating. While they are working on it, it’s too bad they didn’t give stats on yearly savings; I love when companies spell it out like that.
The NV-T2SIR has your usual AM/FM features, but it’s also Sirius-ready. That just means, however, that it’s “ready” for you to add another optional module (and a subscription) to receive Sirius Satellite Radio. Once that’s added, you can rock out to any two bands at once.
Designed for use with NuVo’s NuVo’s Grand Concerto and Essentia E6G whole-house systems, another highlight is the slick OLED front touchpanel.
The NV-T2SIR is expected to ship in Q2 2008 for $699.
