Supernova Epic from dnp Denmark
Think you can’t have a projector and screen combination because too much light is flooding your room? Think again, says screen manufacturer dnp Denmark.
The company is now shipping its Supernova Epic screen, which dnp says allows for viewing in brightly lit environment and features super-high contrast images in 100 percent neutral color.
A curved screen provides greater perceived depth to the image, and you can certainly make it a biggie with the Epic. The masking screen covers aspect ratios from 4:3 to 2.40:1 for your superwide-screen experience.
The company says the Supernova Screen technology effectively limits retro-illumination through an advanced layer of lenses, so you don’t have to worry about washed out or glaring images; the screen material has been certified by the Imaging Science Foundation.
Sizes are available up to 156 inches, with custom orders also at the ready. If you happen to be an A/V dealer, check with dnp USA for a special demo pricing program from March 1 to June 30.
