Another glasses-free 3D TV has surfaced—in Japan, of course. The BDL5231-3D2R (catchy, huh?) is a 52-inch HDTV that can do 3D without the glasses.

Of course, that kind of convenience is NOT free. I certainly didn’t think it would be, but I also did not expect a price tag of $20,850. Yikes.

According to CrunchGear, that kind of cash will also get you a 60Hz refresh rate, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 700cd/m2 brightness, and an 8ms response time.

Right now, there’s no word on whether Nissho plans to sell the BDL5231-3D2R in the U.S.
