The Wii Balance Board measures BMI and tracks progress.

Nintendo wants to take away yet another reason not to exercise—announcing that they will soon release Wii Fit in the United States.

Currently the exercise program has a weight limit of 300 pounds. Has anyone from Nintendo actually visited the U.S.? It’s possible that they are targeting gamers on the slender side; after all, you never see any big boys (or girls) in the Wii commercials. Otherwise, they might want to think about an upgrade before the Q2 release.

Wii Fit uses a balance board to engage the player in 40 different activities, which includes yoga, push-ups, and other exercises.
