Nintendo Planning Better Motion for Wii
The Wii MotionPlus will add more accurate movements to your gameplay.

Nintendo’s Wii MotionPlus will add more accurate motion to Wii games.

Instead of getting lost in the flood of games and other funky announcements at E3, Nintendo has leaked a little info to get you psyched up for their Tuesday press conference.

The company is planning Wii MotionPlus, a little peripheral that attaches to the bottom of the Wiimote to provide quicker, more accurate motion for your Wii play. This is a good thing too, because I always seem to be a second or two off when it comes to anything sporty.

“Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play,” Nintendo said in the pre-announcement.

The little piece will allow the accelerometer and sensor bar to better track your arm movements. No pricing or release date was announced—not that you’d be able to find one! Hopefully that info, as well as other details, will come tomorrow morning.
