You wouldn’t expect “Guitar Hero: On Tour” to perform solo, would you?
Nintendo just announced a “Guitar Hero”-branded version of the DS, just in time to rock out to the new game. The new silver/black shell also has a flaming “Guitar Hero” logo on the side to show just what a super-geek you really are.
Specially designed for Nintendo’s portable, this new version of “Guitar Hero” comes with a pick-stylus and the “Guitar Grip,” which makes play on the DS possible. The game will also include tracks from No Doubt, blink-182, Nirvana, and more.
The special DS will be bundled with “Guitar Hero: On Tour.” Of course, it’s only going to be available for a limited time, which means store frenzies and outrageous prices on eBay.
The “Guitar Hero” DS bundle will be available the same day as the game, on June 22. Nintendo hasn’t announced pricing for the bundle, but the stand-alone game will retail for $50.
