It’s nice to be able to listen to favorite CDs and radio anywhere in the house. Even better is adding a selection of digital music, as well as those online music services you pay for every month.

Niles wants you to get the most out of that digital music with its IM-NET Network Audio Integration Module. The name doesn’t sound pretty, and frankly, the product doesn’t look pretty, either. However, the end result is music to our ears—as well as the ears of anyone else in your home.

Add the card into any IntelliControl ICS system, and you can access and control networked PC and Mac-based digital music, as well as online music. Other features include a menu-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), an audiophile-quality low-ripple Digital-to-Audio Converter (DAC), and 32-bit processing. Niles also says it’s DLNA-compliant.

The IM-NET is expected to ship in Q1 of 2009 for $600.
