I recently bought a new flat-panel TV for my bedroom. Of course, I wanted to mount it, but I forgot that I not only had to purchase the hardware to do so, but I also needed to actually install it.
Although I probably could have used some help, not everyone wants to call an installer. For the rest of us, there’s MountingTips.com, a new Web site from Premier Mounts.
The site provides enough information so hopefully you won’t hurt yourself—or at least your new electronics purchase. Choose your mount type: wall, ceiling or stand—and go from there.
If you’re still having problems, try prodding some of your peers in the online forum. Or at least it will give you a place to rant without frightening your neighbors.
Premier Mounts are available at retail stores nationwide.
