New Sanus HDMI Cables Pivot 180 Degrees
The connections on three new HDMI cables from Sanus Systems offer 180-degree pivoting connectors for flexibility.

The flatter the TV, the lower the wall mount ... the harder to squeeze in that HDMI cable on a rear port if it’s perpendicular to the wall.

Sanus Systems is trying to ease your pain with three new HDMI cable offerings designed to solve the tight space dilemma, which the company will be showcasing at this week’s CES in Las Vegas.

As part of the company’s Sanus Elements line, the ELM402-G1 ($29.99), ELM405-G1 ($39.99) and ELM410-G1 ($49.99) all feature a connector head made from flexible material that pivots 180 degrees. That way it doesn’t have to stick out too far from the wall, because there just isn’t a whole lot of room back there these days.

Sanus says the connector is less than an inch deep in that respect, and it’s gold plated to keep signal integrity optimized.

The cables come in 2.5-, 5- and 10-foot lengths. Sanus says the cables support 10-, 12- and 16-bit RGB or YCbCr color, 1080p, lossless audio and 120Hz refresh.
