New DVD Puts Kids in their Favorite Shows
Whether it's riding in Santa's sleigh or wall-crawling with Spider-Man, this DVD photo product makes your child feel like a movie star.
November 28, 2007 | by Bettyann Liotta

What child wouldn’t want to be the main character in a kid-friendly video? Lucidiom Inc. is betting that most kids will – with its Animated Specialty DVD products that use your child’s photo in their DVDs.

Here’s how it works. Photo retailers such as Ritz Camera centers will house Lucidiom’s Automated Photo Machines (APMs). Consumers can then use photos of their children to create custom-made videos from the APMs like “My Christmas Adventure.”  The child will actually see themselves as a main character doing all sorts of things like snowboarding and flying with Santa in a winter wonderland.

The company is offering eight different video titles now, including Dora the Explorer, Barney, and the Amazing Spiderman – with additional titles planned for next year. Pricing will be $29.95 for “My Christmas Adventure,” and $34.95 for the other brand-name videos.

Check out the different video options at www.lucidiom.com.

You’ll have to contact your nearest Ritz Camera center. Maybe then will have the information.

Does anyone know how to find the nearest location that offers this?  I can’t find any information on the company’s website.

thanks
