My Mobile Witness is a free service that works with phones with photo and text capabilities.
Today, we got a press release on My Mobile Witness, and it’s a Hall of Famer.
First of all, it was almost entirely in caps. Secondly, it announced a new cell phone service that we couldn’t quite figure out. It’s called My Mobile Witness, which apparently keeps track of where you’ve been and what you’ve seen. We’re guessing this is important if you are chronicling your own biography or plan on being blind drunk and need to remember where you’ve left your pants and left shoe.
Otherwise, is there a real reason? Oh—it’s free. We love free things.
Apparently, the service depends on your taking pictures of every place you go and everyone you come in contact with. Because, you know, strangers love it when you take their picture.
Still, I guess if it deters one crime, it was all worth it. Besides, without the service, we wouldn’t have gotten the press release, which also includes the line “I’M ROSA DICAPRIO.” Thanks Rosa!
Editor’s Note: We got an email today to let us know that yesterday’s release was actually intended for radio journalists. Apparently, that industry’s standard is to do all caps (poor guys!). You can check out the non-capped release on the My Mobile Witness website. Enjoy!
