How many times have you had to unplug your router? Apparently, this seems to be some type of magical fix for many electronic devices. It also seems to lead to banging your head or elbow. Most routers aren’t exactly stored in convenient places!

Instead of injuries, we’re offering up NetReset. This upcoming device provides automated network power recycling. It actually handles rebooting your router and/or modem, so you won’t have to.

Basically, the device sequentially power cycles the modem and router every 24 hours, at a time when the network shouldn’t be in use. It can even restore web connectivity after a power failure. That’s accomplished via Network Power Sequence (NPS). In other words, NetReset can keep the network connected when it’s needed and eliminates troubleshooting issues related to power cycling the modem and router.

According to NetReset, the device was designed, built and tested in the field. The entire process has taken about two years.

“We are extremely proud to have developed a product that will increase efficiency for CE professionals, while simplifying technology for end users at the same time,” said Jeremy Peace, NetReset’s chief marketing officer. “NetReset is a game changer across multiple industries and we look forward to the future of automated power cycling.”

Designed as an add-on module for new and existing systems, NetReset LLC plans to formally launch its device at next week’s CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO.  The company is also taking pre-orders for the NetReset, which has an MSRP of $64.95.
