Companies keep cranking out those robot vacuums. They probably won’t be taking over the world anytime soon, but they should be able to take over some of your chores.
The latest in the robot army is the Neato XV-21. Designed specifically for pet owners and allergy sufferers, the XV-21 has a fancy new bristled brush to pick up all of the pet hair, dander and other fibers that could be hiding in your home.
Neato says that the XV-21 works on all floor types and should be quieter than previous models. Other features promise better airflow and suction power, as well as a cleanable filter that should be in for the long haul.
Available in misty white with purple highlights, Neato has designed the XV-21 to be used on a daily basis—assuming you keep it charged, of course. Expect it to start selling at the end of April for $429 (MSRP).
