At the ripe old age of 26, Shawn Fanning is about to make a comeback. The teen whiz who turned simple code into an empire named Napster is about to launch a new online gaming community—Rupture.
Don’t expect to be swapping and downloading illegal copies of “Halo.” The project will only initially work with Blizzard’s “World of Warcraft,” says 1Up.com.
Players will be able to create profiles, chat online and download some game content.
Expect Rupture to launch over the next few weeks.
