Myine Electronics’ Ira Internet Radio
March 20, 2009 | by Arlen Schweiger

Looking to add a whole lotta radio to your home? Maybe you want to check out tunes from other countries, or maybe you’re a sports talk show junkie who wants to hear banter from every major market?

Internet radios are a sure-fire way to go, and it just got easier to snatch up the one from Myine Electronics. The company’s Ira Wireless Internet Radio was just added the wares on Amazon.com, where it retails for $149.99 (course, you can always buy it direct from Myine’s site, but this way the Amazon surfers can add it to their carts easily).

Set up your wireless router, plug the radio into your home stereo system and you’re good to go.

The radio lets you search, without having your computer be on, more than 11,000 stations worldwide. You can conduct searches by location or genre, and they’re filtered in less than 30 seconds, the company says.

For first-time users, there’s about a 3-minute-long auto setup. The radio comes with a remote control, Wi-Fi adapter, RCA cables, AC power cord and quick start guide.
