We know a lot of you like to sing in the shower. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some musical accompaniment? There certainly are a lot of waterproof speakers currently available. However, very few of them can integrate an iPad into the shower experience.
For the person that needs that tablet at all times, there’s Shower Tunes. This unique (and sort of bizarre) product is actually a shower curtain—one with a waterproof speaker system built right in.
If this curtain is a-rockin’, it must mean that you have an iPad attached. It’s not via Bluetooth or even a lengthy cord; there’s actually a waterproof pocket on the shower curtain that can house that pricey portable. Just slip in the iPad, zip the pocket closed, and turn that “simple shower into a media-rich bathing event” (so says Hammacher Schlemmer).
Besides the pocket and the speakers, Shower Tunes also has a built-in audio cable. Once that iPad or other device is nestled into the pocket, you can control whatever device you’re addicted to right through the curtain’s touch-enabled material.
And yes—you’re absolutely addicted. How else can you explain not being able to take a 10-minute shower without access to your beloved iPad?
Shower Tunes is available now, with an MSRP of $39.99.
