Lately, we’ve seen a lot of in-ear headphones. However, sometimes you just want to strap on a pair of over-the-ear headphones and close out the rest of the world.
A new company named Munitio wants to be the one to create that immersive experience, with a pair of PRO40 headphones. This is the company’s first over-ear headphone, which has been created using input from DJs, studio professionals and other industry pros.
It’s also got something called Coda Axis in-line gimbal technology, as well as 40mm titanium-coated drivers, Neodymium magnets, and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. This model even has Munitio’s own Bass Enhancing Chamber technology, which boasts a nice bass performance without any distortion.
Other features include ultra-soft protein leather earpads, a cable with a three-button controller and mic, and a 24K gold-plated 3.5mm stereo plug.
“I want a pair of headphones that inspire a great performance,” said Kenny Barto from the Grammy winning J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. “When you put on a dull set, a lot of emotion is lost. Whoever said studio reference means stale? I want something both accurate and enjoyable. Munitio headphones are just that.”
Each pair of PRO40s comes with a hard-shell case and a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. A free coil cable and 0.25-inch adapter are also available to PRO40 owners via the Munitio website. The PRO40s are available now, with an MSRP of $349.99.
