Most audiophiles don’t appreciate the quantity or quality of digital music. However, Mozaex is hoping to change all of that with the debut of its BLUWAVS MUSIC store.

The newly launched portal promises to deliver CD-quality music through the web, with the same convenience and selection you’d find through a service like iTunes. BLUWAVS MUSIC is launching with over 600,000 CD-quality albums, which are playable on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android smartphones and tablets, Sonos systems, Roku boxes, and much more.

Users can choose one or more high-res formats, including FLAC, ALAC or WAV. Based on Google Drive, you can also opt to download music or stream it from the cloud. There’s even an option to have a CD sent within the U.S. or Canada.

All of the current selections have been sampled at 44kHz/16 bits or “CD quality.” Mozaex is also planning to release a selection of “Master Studio quality” albums in both two-channel stereo and 5.1 channels, which will be sampled at 96kHz/24 bits.

Mozaex even has third-party apps for streaming BLUWAVS MUSIC to Android and iOS devices.

“I am thrilled to see that Mozaex is leading the way to what will hopefully become a renaissance in the appreciation and demand of high-quality music,” said Mozaex CEO Douglas Kihm. “A majority of the more than 500 million people who listen to iTunes, MP3, and other digital music have no idea how much better CD-quality music sounds. With more than 600,000 CD quality albums to download or stream, BLUWAVS MUSIC is the first store to combine the convenience and selection of iTunes with the quality of CDs. BLUWAVS MUSIC is truly how music was meant to sound.”

The BLUWAVS MUSIC store is now open for business. According to Mozaex, the store will soon be available directly through the company’s media servers and for playback through its BLUWAVS FIJI 7.1 HD Audio Headphones.
