MotionPortrait’s software is being designed for video game and social networking applications.
It sort of creeps me out when photos have eyes that follow you around. Now MotionPortrait is adding that and then some.
This software takes your still images and turns them into 3-D that can be animated, synced with sound, and another things that are probably totally unnecessary. In other words, you can add a smile to those portraits—whether your subjects want it or not.
Supposedly the technology is designed for things like video games and social networking. As if the web wasn’t a scary enough place.
