It’s hard to imagine cutting the cord to pay TV. Mad Men! The Walking Dead! Game of Thrones!

Yeah, all of those TV shows are readily available through a variety of inexpensive sreaming services. However, if you think you’ll start missing the nightly news and Dancing With The Stars, you can easily get all of that stuff for free. Now, you’re not dreaming and you haven’t won anything. However, you will need an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to get the goods.

Antennas have come a long way since those ugly rooftop contraptions and rabbit ears. Mohu just introduced its latest antenna option, the Leaf Metro.

The Leaf Metro is a flat antenna that’s designed for use indoors, but it shouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb. It’s compact and the black-and-white color scheme looks kind of cool.It can be hung on a wall and comes with two adhesive hooks. Even better, it supplies access to all sorts of free OTA broadcast channels.

Even better, a lot of those local stations are currently broadcasting in full high definition, so you can still experience a great picture, without the monthly fees. Also, because the Leaf Metro can be used indoors, it will work in homes, apartments and even dorms. Just know that the number of channels you will get will be based on placement and your proximity to local TV stations. (Mohu says that the range is about 25 miles.)

“We believe in designing high-quality products tailored to the needs of those who are using them. Leaf Metro is an ideal option for our customers, many of whom are young, on a budget, and have limited space,” said Mark Buff, president and co-founder of Mohu. “We’re bringing them a product that’s even smaller, snazzier and more affordable than our top-rated and especially popular Leaf 30 and Leaf 50 HDTV antennas, while delivering the excellent performance that is Mohu’s standard.”

To find out about some of the free over-the-air channels available in your area, check out the Mohu website. That’s also where the company is selling the Leaf Metro, which is available now for $24.95.
