If you’re going to bother investing in surge protection, you want it to be ready in case of an actual emergency. Middle Atlantic Products says that its Series Protection line provides some of the fastest response times in the industry.

The newly launched surge suppression line features patent-pending technology designed to protect all of your AV goodies from surges—which can seriously damage your investment. It features “non-sacrificial circuitry,” which boasts system reliability and noise-free performance by protecting connected equipment without contaminating the system ground.

According to Middle Atlantic, each Series Protection product can automatically disconnect devices from sustained over- and under-voltage events. Each one can also recover automatically, once an event is over. No downtime is necessary!

The Series Protection line includes a hardwired model, as well as half-width models. Full-width rack-mount models for 19-inch enclosures are also available. Last, but certainly not least, the company says they are planning to add Series Protection technology into its growing RackLink Power Management System.

Middle Atlantic Products plans to start selling the Series Protection line on September 15, 2012.
