If you’re worried about storage options on the Media Core 200 Digital Media System, Meridian has a bit of relief. The company just announced a few enhancements—and one of them will double the existing product’s storage capacity.
The Media Core 200 is being debuted as an all-new product with an all-new 1TB hard drive. That means you’ll get double the storage on the previous model. It also means you can store about 2,000 of your favorite CDs, in lossless quality. All of those goodies should be easy to access from a Meridian controller, a computer, or through Meridian’s Core Control App for the iPad or iPhone.
According to Meridian, the upgrade doesn’t just up your storage options, but also boasts better performance for the unit. Import everything you have from iTunes, tap into web radio, or just add the unit to any existing Meridian setup for extras storage and/or zones.
Meridian is selling the Media Core 200 Digital Media System now, with an MSRP of $4,000.
