Meridian Audio is making its streaming systems a lot more comprehensive. The company just announced plans for a few upgrades to its already impressive music lineup.
Starting August 5, the company’s streamers will be fully compatible with with select products from QNAP. In case you didn’t know, QNAP makes a variety of NAS (network attached storage) products. This will allow homeowners to easily add even more music into an existing setup.
Two additional perks will come as a plug-in. That upgrade will add dBpoweramp’s Music Converter and CD Ripper to Meridian products, making it even easier (and quicker!) to import your music collection. It will also include all of the metadata so you have artist, song and album info, as well as cover art, all at your fingertips.
Meridian makes streaming solutions that are easy to expand throughout the house. The company also has options for iOS control through the free Core Control app or a dedicated touchpanel, such as the 17-inch Control 15.
