Picking out a flat-panel mount is not an exciting process. However, Media Decor is hoping to pump some excitement (and sound) into the category, with The Edge.
The Edge is a new custom-made flat-panel TV mount that combines a handcrafted Media Decor frame with a Leon Horizon soundbar. Yes, that means that this mount can actually boost the sound of your HDTV.
With a profile that’s just 3 inches deep, The Edge should blend nicely into almost any room’s decor. Designed to work with flat-panel TVs up to 65 inches, both the frame and the soundbar are custom-built to match the size and performance of your needs. It also comes in a choice of hardwood (maple, cherry, espresso, walnut) or optional glossy black and white finishes.
Supposedly, it’s also easy to install, packing in level adjustments and tilting capabilities, so you can easily access all of the TV’s cables.
“We designed The Edge to be the world’s most beautiful TV mount,” said Jonathan Graham, president of Media Decor. “The Edge offers a unique combination of high-demand, sophisticated design, featuring Media Decor’s elegant craftsmanship, and instant access to high quality audio entertainment with Leon Speakers.”
Media Decor is selling The Edge in two models. The Edge-Spk comes with a pre-mounted Leon soundbar and hidded wiring chase, so everything is prewired. The Edge-Nspk does not have the speaker bar.
