Janice Porter Marckstein’s “Tiger Lillies” is among the 18 pieces of artwork in Media Decor’s Illusion series
Adding another option to its extensive product offerings designed to blend TVs with elegant design, Media Decor has introduced a new line of frames and art pieces to cover wall-mounted flat-panel televisions.
The Illusion series of remote-controlled art coverings, created to conceal the ‘black holes’ left by flat-panel TVs while in the ‘off’ position, are available from $2,495.
The series is made for flat-panel TVs that measure 42 or 50 inches, and customers can select from 18 pieces of art. Frames for the artwork come in four choices: matte black, kona bean, silver foil and gold foil.
The Illusion’s electronic drive system moves the art effortlessly up and down over the black screen when the TV is off, and is powered by the near-silent Lutron Sivoia QED (Quiet Electronic Drive), the company says.
