Each of the four HiddenReflections models features a 17-inch high-def LCD inside.
Like to keep one eye on the morning news while shaving? HiddenReflections may not nurse your razor mishaps, but it can keep you entertained while you try to contain the bleeding.
HiddenReflections is MB Quart’s line of mirrored TVs. Available in four sizes, each one has a hidden 17-inch, 1-inch thick high-def LCD to distract you from daily chores such as brushing your teeth and washing your face. Of course, you don’t need to banish one of these to the bathroom; the company says they are also pretty nifty for foyers, entranceways, or any other place where you need a mirror and a TV in one spot.
Each unit uses one-way glass and a “high-reflective, high-contrast multilayer substrate for a natural reflection of color and skin tones,” says the company’s announcement. “This distortion free technology combined with a MB Quart digital LCD yields the brightest TV and Mirror combo available today,” adds Brian Walter, MB Quart’s director of sales.
The concept is nothing new, but MB Quart must be doing something different. The line just snagged an International CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering mention for the 24-by-36-inch unit, which is the line’s smallest model. Other sizes include 36-, 48- and 60-inch models.
Just like your little secret inside the mirror, the company has also chosen to conceal the pricing; no info is currently available.
