Maxent launched its 2007 line of value-priced plasma, LCD and LCD TV/DVD combination televisions at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The line of 16:9 aspect ratio flat-panel televisions deliver video with a set of features including ATSC and NTSC tuners, built-in bottom mount audio speakers and a comprehensive set of connectivity options.
The 2007 Maxent product line incorporates MotionDSC video processing, which supports 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down, digital noise reduction, and IIS (Intelligent Image Scaling) Engine. The new widescreen 37-, 42- and 47-inch LCD and 42-, 50- and 58-inch plasma televisions feature standard RS-232 and RJ-45 ports for remote network control. Maxent’s new 22- and 32-inch LCD TV/DVD combination televisions features a multiple variety of digital media arrangements and supports a wide array of disc types.
All Maxent televisions include advanced audio processing, and a wide variety of connectivity options including DVI, RGB input and loop-out, composite/S-Video inputs, SD/HD component video inputs, discrete audio inputs, and audio and subwoofer outputs.
Expect the models to be released throughout the year, with the bulk coming soon. The products will be distributed through retailers nationwide.
