MartinLogan wants to channel your inner audiphile. Kind of.

You may not be able to engineer the electrostatic technology that drives the company’s flagship Summit loudspeaker ($10,995/pair), but MartinLogan does want to make sure the finish and color of the rest of the speaker is customized exactly to your taste. To assure that, it’s letting you pick and choose from combinations through its 3-D model and palette configurator.

You’ll need to download a Viewpoint Media Player plug-in to navigate the system, but once you do you can polish off everything from the cabinet to hood and backplate, woofer masking, LED, feet/spikes, knobs, binding posts and even backplate screws. MartinLogan calculates the combinations for everything add up to about 400,000.

And if its possible that your needs aren’t met in its Custom Shop, MartinLogan says it will work directly with you to find whatever custom solution you’re looking for.
