Khaaan!
Tony Alleyne, the British DJ who modeled his apartment after Star Trek: Voyager, is being forced out of his Trekked out home. And apparently, resistance is futile.
The apartment is actually owned by Alleyne’s estranged wife, who wants to sells the Star Trek-themed flat. The couple has been separated since 2004.
When Electronic House featured Alleyne in 2007, he was very proud of the spaceship he had created. He also said that he was in the process of selling the place on eBay for $850,000. That sale obviously did not go through.
According to MSNBC (via The Sun), Alleyne says that it would cost around $150,000 to redo the theme in another location.
“To say I’m gutted is an understatement. It is my life’s work,” Alleyne told the Sun. “I admit there were tears.”
